2016 Storm
I would like to thank All First Responders & Civilians who put the County first before themselves. This was another remarkable come together and Join Forces, it amazes me how quick we can throw out bias towards individuals when that individual will be watching your back and keeping you safe from danger during emergencies.
For 10 (ten) hours Sunday night to Monday morning I had only come across 1 (one) individual that was arrogant and who knows why he was the way he was, he could have been like my family NO Power which is entirely acceptable in my book.
Where was Pct. 3 Deputy Constables during this Storm and time of need "Not Helping in Waller County" just think one of the Reserves is running for Sheriff.
Safety Tip for all Licensed to Carry Holders please consider when reaching for your I.D. that your movements won't be mistaken as a Threat in the eyes of the Officer.

Stand in our shoes for less than 5 seconds.......
The average police officer involved deadly force encounter involves the following elements:
1. The average officer and adversary are less than 5 feet apart.
2. The encounter involves a gun and 3-5 shots are exchanged.
3. The setting is typically rural under low light conditions.
4. At least one combatant sustains life threatening Injuries.
5. The encounter lasts less than 4 seconds from start to finish.
Now blink your eyes normally 4 times and imagine the scenario above...and ask yourself just how much margin for error a police officer can afford when confronted with any armed individual. If it were you or a loved one ....how careful would you be?
Godspeed...
